Correction Regarding Middletown's Tree Giveaway

The Town of Middletown held a registration for a free tree giveaway last month which resulted in residents who pre-ordered to receive a total of 51 trees which those residents will pick up on Saturday, April 20th. The free trees are only for those residents who pre-ordered them. Middletown is grateful for the opportunity to partner with FirstEnergy’s tree planting and giveaway program for help with funding, and their volunteers who will help plant trees at our Arbor Day event next Friday, April 26th.

All residents are welcome to join us at our 8th Annual Green Expo taking place from 10am -2pm tomorrow at Memorial Park where the Frederick County Forestry Board will be giving away free tree seedlings, and we will be raffling off a couple larger trees. Residents are also encouraged to join us for the tree planting event at Remsberg Park at 1pm next Friday. There will be no trees given away on that day though.
