 Owner & Executive Chef Jake Sgueo’s 20 plus years of extraordinary culinary experience, his tireless hard-work ethic, and his ability to lead & manage his team in this fast-paced environment with a brilliant sense of humor is the heart of everything that is Renaissance Chef Catering Company. Renaissance Chef Catering Company was established in 2005 in the charming city Frederick, MD not far from the small town of Damascus where Jake was born and raised (and also met his wife, Erin in high school).  Jake first began the first few years of his culinary career as a young man working his way through multiple positions, from Prep & Line Cook, Restaurant Server & Kitchen Supervisor, to Restaurant Manager at various restaurants differing in styles & cuisines.
