Here, we will provide an introduction to the common methods used by computer-based attackers. We will also be discussing methods to prevent computer-based attacks against your company infrastructure, secure sensitive company data, and ensure continuity of operations in the event of data loss.
Eric is an Information Security Consultant for MBL Technologies with 11 years’ experience in Information Technology. Presently, he assists with the Office of Cyber Security of the Veterans Affairs Office conducting security assessments of VA information systems. Before joining MBL, he worked for Markmonitor as an Anti-Fraud Support Engineer. He assisted in stopping and preventing internet and phone based scams like phishing and social engineering attacks. Before this position, Eric worked at the National Institute of Standards and Technology on the National Software Reference Library. Eric also spent time in the United States Army and performed maintenance on numerous military intelligence systems.
