Thrive! launches our 'Women Who Inspire' series with a powerful presentation from Kelly Schulz, Secretary of the Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation. You may have heard her speak about her political beliefs, but you've never heard her like this. As a successful woman in a male-dominated industry Kelly has faced many challenges, opportunities, and experiences. Though unique, her journey and background represent many of our experiences.
Kelly Schulz lives in the Lake Linganore community of Frederick County where she raised two children. Kelly graduated from Hood College and was a Presidential Appointee under President George Bush. Kelly currently is a part-owner of a cyber security firm. Kelly attends Frederick Church of the Brethren and in her spare time enjoys reading and gardening. (courtesy of delegateschulz.com)
