Kaku holds the Henry Semat Chair in Theoretical Physics at the City University of New York, where he has been a faculty member for almost 30 years. He has also taught at Princeton and Harvard, where he graduated summa cum laude and first in his physics class from Harvard in 1968. Kaku received his Ph.D. in Physics from the Univ. of Calif. at Berkeley in 1972.
