Thriving Commons is a powerful, self-contained, online platform designed to strengthen communities through shared engagement and can be accessed both on desktop and through an app on your phone. Online feeds, chats, webpages, networking, direct messaging, event planning and activity calendaring, document management, and custom training design and execution — all these and more are found not spread across disparate platforms, but instead under one proverbial roof. This means individuals and organizations that join Thriving Commons enjoy a one-stop-shop for their communication, organizing, and collaboration needs. And by leasing autonomous spaces within Thriving Commons, organizations, businesses, and affinity groups can create their own “community-within-the-community.” Spaces can be custom branded, and lessees can select and personalize the online platform features listed above to match their needs. Each space is designed to allow for intentional gatekeeping, so space lessees can either allow open or restricted access, all controlled by their own organization-designated “space host” and unlimited moderators. Here nonprofits, advocacy groups, and affinity groups strengthen their board governance and volunteer and project management. Family and friend groups enjoy a central hub to streamline communication and deepen relationships. And, Thriving Commons has the capacity to monetize key features at the discretion of the space lessee. Want a subscription fee for entry to your space, or to charge for events or courses or to sell merchandise? Small businesses, influencers, and other creative entrepreneurs can fashion their ideal spaces to create and grow a community around their brand while generating income to support their mission.
