The Salvation Army of Frederick, MD is a vital community partner offering comprehensive support to individuals and families in need. Our Day Center serves those experiencing homelessness with access to laundry, food, and essential resources. Through the Pathway of Hope program, we walk alongside families to break the cycle of poverty by offering case management, goal-setting, and long-term support. The Washington Area Fuel Fund (WAFF) provides crucial financial assistance to help households stay warm by covering their primary heating source during the winter months. During the holidays, our Christmas Assistance program brings joy and relief to families through gifts and food support. We also offer faith-based ministry, weekly worship services, and youth programs that nurture spiritual growth and community. Our Family Store provides affordable clothing and household goods, while helping fund our local programs. With a mission to meet human need without discrimination, The Salvation Army stands ready to offer help and hope—body, mind, and soul—to the Frederick community.
