From the first phone call to set up the estimate visit to receiving our furniture in a different state, I'm thrilled with the service we received from Moyer & Sons Moving.

My husband and I are in the midst of relocating his parents to a senior living facility in a different state. This a complicated move for us, consolidating two condos in two states down to one senior living apartment for our parents.

Moyer & Sons helped us with packing artwork, TVs, lamps/shades, fine china, and fragile family heirloom furniture.

What impressed me:
- This is truly a family owned and operated business. Sons, grandsons, and cousins run the show, answer the phone, and actually return phone calls.
- Their staff has been with them for a long time. Low turnover. Well trained. Pleasant, efficient, and helpful.
- Estimate was clearly presented, accurate, and fair.
- They were swift with sending COI to each building to cover the insurance, etc.

In short: what has been an emotional, stressful, and demanding event for my in-laws, my husband, and myself - Moyer & Sons took a major load and carried it for us with grace and with ease.

They are EXCELLENT, and are at the top of my list if/when I'll need to hire a company again in this area. I will recommend this firm again and again.

The Navy contracted Moyer &Sons for our move from Bethesda Md to Norfolk Va. Donna and her daughter Ashley came to pack & they were excellent. Careful of out things &very organized. They were able to get most things packed on day 1 but it was a lot so they needed to come back on day 2 to finish.
I needed an item (packed on day1) that should not have been packed (my fault) Donna had the boxes labeled so accurately that she was able to find the box just from the labels and when we opened it there was the missing item. No muss,no fuss Donna came back on day 3 and supervised the men loading the 2vans. Everything inventoried and carefully packed.
If you use Moyer and sons be sure to ask for Donna. She's the best

Our family had a great experience with Moyers for our cross-country move. Gordon was attentive and responsive throughout the process and his colleagues kept us updated and made an effort to accommodate our requests. Packing, loading and unloading crews were very professional and courteous. Highly recommend!

But Moyer really has the most exceptional customer service - these people have perfected the art of helping someone move! I used them for a cross-country move. They were professional, responsive and well priced. The estimator came on time, returned to deliver free packing boxes several times, and when the move happened the movers were on time and very efficient. The team lead was also the driver who brought our stuff over and made sure everything was okay before he left.
One proof that this is a good company is how long the employees have been working there, and the ones we dealt with had been there more than a decade and had raised through the ranks.
I recommend them highly and I would use them again.

I just used Moyer & Sons for a local move (30 minutes apart old to new) and they were terrific from start to finish, from the initial walkthrough and estimate, to prep and support, and then the day of the move they showed up prompt at 9am. It took 4 guys, 2 large trucks and 9 hours to move all my stuff! Great group of guys!- highly recommend

I have used them for 2 work paid relocations and now 1 personal move. All have been out of state moves. Couldn't ask for a more professional and respectful company to deal with. Trust them with your prized belongings and you will not regret it for a second ...

If I could give Moyer six stars, I would. We used Moyer's Move Management service to help move my mother into a senior living apartment community. First step: A wonderful Moyer employee, Bette, came to visit Mom's house twice to help us figure out what furniture to place in the floor plan of Mom's new apartment. Second step: Moyer movers, led by Anna, arrived at the house with the color-coded floor plan Bette had prepared. The Moyer team carefully and efficiently packed everything up in a matter of a few hours, and brought the truck to a secure storage facility to await the morning move. Third step: First thing the next morning, Moyer moved my mom's furniture and belongings into her new apartment, unpacked everything, and created Mom's old house in her new apartment, right down to the pictures on the dresser. When Mom walked in, she was home. They were absolutely extraordinary. Huge thanks to Moyer for making a stressful time go so smoothly.

Hey there wonderful yelp community! This review I am going to write is in relation to the service they have provided to my customers. I personally have not yet had the chance to use them to move, but when the time comes, I would not consider anyone else.

I do residential solar for Tesla. Therefore, I meet many homeowners weekly. From time to time, I am asked if I know any movers.
