Truth in Advertising: A Guide to Trust and Transparency - Attendees will learn about common misleading and deceptive marketing tactics to inform their purchasing decisions. Participants will be equipped to identify current red flags used by advertisers and become more knowledgeable consumers.
Spot the Scam: Identifying the Red Flags of a Scam - Designed to spot and avoid various investment, social media, and telecommunications scams currently trending across the country. Attendees also learn how to use BBB tools such as our Scam Tracker, Scam Prevention Guide, and Scam Survival Kit to recognize and report suspected scams.
